Hi, I’m Shara

With a background that spans industries from education and beauty to real estate and tech, my experience as a designer is anything but conventional. I started in graphic design, working across both corporate and creative environments, but in 2020, I made the leap to UX to focus on crafting user-centered experiences grounded in research. This shift wasn’t just about evolving my skill set—it was about embracing the challenge of solving real problems through design.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with both major corporations and scrappy startups, leading everything from discovery sessions to design thinking workshops. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do, whether it's working side-by-side with developers, product managers, or stakeholders to meet their objectives.

Outside of work, I love escaping to beach destinations. So far Jamaica is my favorite. Catching up on true crime documentaries is one of my favorite past times. If not for design, I might’ve become a true crime writer. More often than not, you can find me with a book about leadership, research or design in hand (I know, I know, I need more hobbies!). Right now, I’m deep into learning quantitative research methods and coding a Figma plugin to streamline design approvals for my team. Each new skill and project helps fuel my passion for creating thoughtful, impactful designs.
